His Excellency Monsignor Luis Arguëllo, Archbishop of Valladolid, has joined the advisory board of the Catholic University of New Spain. In a solemn ceremony held at the Cathedral, Monsignor Luis Arguëllo received an honorary doctorate in theology from Dean Emeritus of the University, His Excellency Dr. Antonio Bascones, President of the Royal Academy of Spain, and from Professor Luis Gregorio Olguin, Visiting Professor and Honorary Associate Dean of Institutional Relations for Spain and Portugal. Monsignor Luis Arguëllo's distinguished career and many merits make him worthy of the highest honor the University can bestow.
