The Catholic University of New Spain is fully registered in the State of Florida, United States of America as a private religious educational institution. Operating under Section 1005.06(1)(f), Florida Statutes and Rule 6E-5.001, Florida Administrative Code, the University is authorized to grant associates, bachelor’s, master’s, certificates, and doctoral degrees in counseling, christian studies, education, administration, music, fine arts, media communications, or social work. Degrees issued by the University are notarized with the Hague Apostille by the Florida Department of State.

The Catholic University of New Spain does not sponsor visas and it does not accept any Federal government aid.

The Catholic University of New Spain is accredited by the Agencia Internacional de Calidad Educativa (AICE), one of the largest and most prestigious accreditation agencies in the Americas. AICE is an international accreditation agency based in Mexico City which accredits both private and public universities in the Latin American region and beyond. The Catholic University of New Spain enjoys full institutional accreditation from the 9th of August 2024 to the 9th of August 2029.

The Catholic University of New Spain has gained Membership status from the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC). ASIC is recognised by UKVI in UK, is a member of the CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG) in USA and is listed in their International Directory, is a member of the BQF (British Quality Foundation) and are institutional members of EDEN (European Distance and E-Learning Network).
